Banorte, led by Carlos Hank González, was recognized as Mexico’s most powerful bank in Mundo Ejecutivo magazine’s ranking of “The Most Powerful Banks”.
Banorte stood out for its participation in the lending market and the growth of its assets, along with an increasing focus on technology, Artificial Intelligence, and resilience in the face of market challenges.
The ranking includes 51 banking institutions and was compiled using indicators such as revenue, ROA, ROE, and IMOR, based on information from the CNBV Information Portfolio as of December 2025.
This recognition adds to other awards Banorte has received this year, including Best Innovation in Retail Banking in Mexico and Most Sustainable Bank of the Year in Mexico from International Banker, as well as Best Trade Finance Providers in Mexico from Global Finance.
