Grupo Financiero Banorte has announced its commitment to promoting the growth of one million trees in Mexico between 2025 and 2030, in support of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 1 Trillion Trees (1t.org) initiative.
By joining 1 Trillion Trees (1t.org), Banorte becomes the first Mexican institution to undertake this responsibility, reaffirming its dedication to the environment and future generations.
Carlos Hank González, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Financiero Banorte, emphasized: “Our commitment to sustainability reflects our dedication to reforesting Mexico. This alliance is an investment in planting life in Mexico and its communities, contributing to the country’s well-being and prosperity for this and future generations.”
To ensure the integrity of its commitment, Banorte will drive a series of activities through its partners and collaborate with “Reforestamos México”, as well as other organizations across the country.
