Extel (formerly Institutional Investor), an international company specializing in financial services, awarded Carlos Hank González, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Financiero Banorte (GFNorte), the recognition as Most Honored Company of the annual Latin America Executive Team 2025 ranking.
In addition, GFNorte obtained first place in the following seven categories: Best Company Board of Directors (Best Board of Directors), chaired by Carlos Hank González, and Best Chief Executive Officer (Best Chief Executive Officer), position held by Marcos Ramírez Miguel. This ranking includes financial companies in Latin America (excluding Brazil, according to Extel’s own methodology Extel), as well as companies from all industries in Mexico.

Among the attributes measured in the distinct categories are credibility, leadership, commercial and market knowledge, and communication, among others.

For more than 50 years, Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) has conducted independent surveys of investment professionals globally, who evaluate and determine the best financial intermediary service providers, asset managers, as well as CEOs, CFOs, investor relations officers and IR programs in Europe, emerging markets, Asia Pacific, North America and Latin America.
